Welcome to Lectin Free Foodie! We’re so happy you stopped by. We first heard about Dr. Steven Gundry, and his book, the Plant Paradox about a year ago.
We were listening to a podcast by one of our favorite humans ever, Lewis Howes, as he interviewed Dr. Gundry. (Listen to the podcast HERE)
About a week later, we heard Tony Robbins mention his personal doctor was Dr. Steven Gundry, and the exciting new research that was emerging from his work.
We were fascinated. Using ourselves as guinea pigs, we jumped in.
And the results have been pretty amazing so far. We’ve lost weight, increased our mental focus, no longer experience joint pain, inflammation, we get better sleep and have more energy.

We don’t have a doctorate in medical biophysics.
What we ARE is a couple who is sick and tired of being sick and tired. And we’re taking our health into our own hands and using this blog to share our journey back to optimal health.
We aren’t here to debate the merits of a lectin free, whole food based diet.
We’re not here to provide research, peer reviewed studies, or give you any lectures on what you should or should not be eating.
Besides, there are plenty of places to do your research and come to your own conclusions.
We’re just two foodies who believe that just because food is good for your gut, doesn’t mean it has to taste like poop.
We think food is an adventure, and adventures are best shared with friends.
